Ganong Place is a four-storey building that was originally built as a chocolate factory. The building is sub-divided into three separate wings, two with four floors each and one with three floors. The gross area of the building is approximately 85,000 sq. ft. Ground floor maximum floor load is 100 lbs per sq. ft. With maximum floor load for floors two, three and four as 60lbs per sq. ft.

The Elevator is in the central common area of the building. The walls are made of concrete with double masonry walls made of wood and steel reinforcing, the exterior is made of masonry brick. The storey height from floor to floor is approximately 10 to 12 feet.

There are energy-efficient windows, and Thermo pane fixed units in pre-finished aluminum frames installed throughout the building in 1994. The doors are standard commercial entrance systems with aluminium frames. The building and property are both environmentally sound, free of asbestos, PCBs and all other environmentally harmful substances.

The building measurements are determined as per BOMA standards.
